Sending MBs to US Address

Have any fellow Canadians had their magic bands shipped to a US address? I'm booking our room and there's a section for where to ship travel documents - is that where I would put in the US address? It's the address of a friend of mine in the US. Other than magic bands, what "travel docs" will she get? If it makes any difference, I'm just booking a throw away room so I don't actually plan to stay at the resort.

We've shipped our bands to a USA address. When you are personalizing your bands there should be a ship to section. That is where you put the USA mailing address.

If it's a throwaway room, why are you having the magic bands shipped at all? Or is it to get the magic bands?

Part of the reason we're getting the throwaway room is to get magic bands. Also to get parking and 60 day fps. But I'd rather not have to drive to Fort Wilderness to pick up the bands.

Interesting strategy. So you're getting a campground, I assume? Are you doing that for all the days of your trip or just one day?

Yep, a tent campground for $60US. That gets us 2 days of parking, magic bands for our whole party, and early FP booking. We booked it for our first day in the parks, so we get parking on check in day and check out day.

I found a thread on here with all the details of how to do it. Do a search for throwaway room.

So you are only going to WDW for the 2 days or you'll just make sure to book the 'critical' and highly sought FPPs on those two days?

With parking circa $20/day and MBs somewhere around $13 each, sounds like your 60 day FPP window is a bonus bit of pixie dust.

We're going for 5 days. The way it currently works is at my 60 days I'll be able to book the 2 days FPs. Then each day I have tickets for, 60 days out, I'll be able to book the next set. It's hard to explain, the throwaway room thread does a better job. :)
