If I want to send a gift to a friend who is staying at a Disney resort, what info would I need? I don't want to have to ask her specific info to tip her off.

And does Disney have a online service to order something?

Thanks for the assist.

You will need her name, resort name, address, etc. I used memoriesbybetsy and she was very helpful (asked what my husband liked, etc., and then gave me her ideas and I sent her one item I wanted included). Once your friend is checked in, they will deliver the package to her and if she is not there they will leave it in her room. Here's a picture of what Betsy put together for my husband for our upcoming trip (there are other companies that do this as well).

I'd suggest checking out the Disney Florist too. They have lots of pictures on their website and can do flowers, baskets and other stuff too. You can also arrange to have whatever you order delivered to any resort. http://www.disneyflorist.com

Thanks everyone for your help. I want to make this visit to Disney special for my friend and her son. She just lost her husband to cancer 3 weeks ago. They both need some time away to help get through this sad time.

Thanks again.

I am so very sorry for your friends loss. Cancer is a terrible disease and it devastates families. My heart goes out to your friend and her son! :grouphug:

I do not know sons age, but Disney florist has some things for "students" like snack stuff or candy in a portable "cooler" type thing (sorry I am SO exhausted and cannot thing of actual name) anyway, I had that delivered for my son and it was hit ( I think I recall m&m's chocolate, lorna doons, etc. Came "be-ribboned" and festive and we used the carry thing down by pool for our snacks to stay cool so that was a plus.
What a thoughtful friend you are, very sweet!

You're a great friend. One thing to keep in mind, if you order anything with alcohol, they will not deliver to the room. She will need to pick it up at Guest Services.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I'm going to order something tomorrow as they will arrive on Sat., 8/16. Funny thing is we will be there on 8/19, so we are going to try to get together for lunch or just to hang out together. We will be resort neighbors, she's at the GF and we're at the Poly.
