Sending back to the room?

I absolutely love the convinience of sending all of our purchases back to the resort while at WDW. Do they offer this perk on the cruise? If I buy something at a souvanir shop do I have the option of sending it to my room or do I have to lug it around with me. If they don't have it, they should, I spend more money because I don't realize what I bought since I don't have to carry it around- all of the sudden on the last night I am going nuts looking at my room charges & trying to figure out how I spent all that money & how I'm going to get it all home!!!!! Thanks for any info!!

I dont Believe they do that... like at the world......

But if u purchased something u could leave it at the shop..

until u had time to go pick it up...

it is really not that far From any stateroom to the shops...

They will send your CC purchases back to the ship and you pick them up at the shop where you can get liquor and cigars, the name escapes me.

The name of the shop where they sell duty-free liquor is called "Up Beat". We spent a few dollars there so the name is embedded in my brain!! LOL

I'm not sure if you are asking about the shops on the ship or the shops in the ports.

Having purchase sent back to your stateroom on the ship would be the same as buying something in your resort gift shop and having it sent to your room. The reason they do it at WDW is because you are usually walking around the parks, going on rides, etc. and the convenience of not lugging your purchases with you is a big perk. On the ship the shops (and there are only 2) are just a couple of floors from your room so it's very easy to drop your purchases off before heading off again.

In the ports I believe you are on your own. The shops are not Disney owned or operated (except on Castaway Cay) so they don't have the same relationship as the shops in the parks at WDW and the resort hotels.

I guess I am usually a morning shopper & even at the resort I would stop by the shops in the morning & then pick the stuff up later. I guess I'll just shop later at night this time-- but CC sends the souvanirs back? Am I understanding that correctly? Thanks again!

Yes, on Castaway Cay you have the option of sending your purchases back to the ship. They aren't delivered to your room, however, you pick them up at UpBeat after about 6:30 p.m.
