Selling DVC Question

My wife and I have decided to sell one of our DVC contracts Kids are grown up and we are spending less time at Disney. We dont want to rent the points out. Looking for a short list of brokers to go through. What is the typical sales commision %? How long from listing to closing was it?

There are many brokers out there and I have used a few. I have had good luck with both.

The first time I sold it was 10%, but I believe many are a bit lower now. In terms of timeframe, it all depends on what you are listing for and the specifics of your contract in terms of points available.

Once you have an offer and it goes to Disney for ROFR, it’s typically about a 6 week process.l,up to 30 days for the ROFR process and another few weeks to close it.
