Besides eBay, where would you recommend to sell Disney souvenirs (eg, backpacks, photo frames, etc). It's time to declutter... :rotfl2:

Thanks!

Is there a reason you want to stay away from eBay??? Or are you just looking at all your options????

Amazon might be worth checking out. I actually just started selling a few things there myself. I kinda think of it in a psychological approach... Like if someone goes looking to buy a new camera and sees a high price, they'll see right below it that a used version is half the cost, and hopefully want to buy my used camera. I just sold a camera recently (and a lens today), and got more than what they've been selling for on eBay. So maybe that philosophy works!?!?

I use Craigslist and meet the buyer in a public place (usually the local mcdonalds parking lot). If I am selling something like camera gear, they can check it out in person and give me cash, no worries about problems with shipping and delivery or damage in route.

I've gotten as far as the decluttering stage, but have not yet offered any of our stuff up for sale. One of the things I think I will do is offer them on my private Facebook page. The idea is I'd like to offer them to real friends/family before I do a whole public thing. Just seems easier, like a private garage sale. It's just a theory at this point though, haven't done it yet.

I had a lot of luck posting my items on Facebook for my friends and family to purchase. It worked fantastic! I didn't have to worry about facing strangers and I was happy to see my items go to people I knew would take good care of them!

Good to know!
