Sellers aren't returning closing docs!

Just wanted to update that we went ahead and signed the addendum and gave them until November 7. I, of course, signed/scanned/emailed my document back tonight so I am kind of irritated at myself for agreeing to give them 2 weeks BUT we have decided that if this falls through we probably will wait until after the holidays to try again so I guess it is in my best interest to see this one through and hope it happens.

I had an offer in on a contract, and the sellers did not return the documents. Found out from our broker the sellers were in the middle of a divorce and one of couple was causing as much trouble as possible. When the estoppel date came and went we backed out - sorry, but I have drama of my own, I don't need someone else's. Found another contract two days later, it was a better contract, and we are now very happy DVC owners!

I find that things often work out this way. One door closes another opens. And often a better one.

Stacy- I wanted to say I feel your pain- we too were supposed to close on October 10th and our seller went Mia. We did sign the addendum because like you we were happy with the terms- the seller told the agent that they had trouble finding a notary? Wonder if perhaps we had the same seller lol... We finally heard on Thursday that we had closed and had documents forwarded to Disney.. Hoping to get our information in time to book a November trip at 11 months

Can't believe how often this seems to happen. Our sellers finally returned their paperwork on Wednesday but they omitted 2 pages. Its becoming laughable. I am wondering if they are older and not technically savvy because outside of the notarized page everything else they should be able to emailed back.

They have until Friday and then we walk.
