For me I just dont like the look of them, and I dont want "keepsake" pics of me in big clunky pink (that is the colour I would get I assume) shoes

THOUGHTS please

Thanks :thumbsup2

am the wrong one to ask if you are looking for someone to stop you from buying one... me and my Dsis have every single color with the "Beach" model... am not sure about the new style "maryjane" but I trully trully love them.. I have 3-4 heel spur on both heels... and this one doesnt bother and alleviates my pain

Personally I returned mine. They come in sizes like medium (8-9) and large (10-11). My husband who is a size 9 mens had no problems with the large size and kept his. I am a size 9 womens (size 8 mens) and the mediums were too tiny and the large ones way too big. my feet hurt wearing the mediums.

The point here is buy a pair, keep the receipt and return em if they hurt you.

THREADMUTHER!!!

Really, PINK????

I'm gonna have to turn you in to DISUNC about this one, I'm afraid! :hyper2: Yep, this is all going in my report.. :rotfl:

I really don't like the way they look that much either...except the little ones I got for DS6-they are so cute.. :p But they are soooo light-they weigh nothing. And they are comfy. I gave in and got some look-a-likes at Goodies-on sale for $7.50. I would NOT pay $30 for them..heck, I haven't even had the nerve to wear them, and I've had them for 3 weeks...
I also had trouble with sizing when I tried on the real thing..I wear a 7, can't wear a 5-6, or 7-8 or whatever "double" sizing they use...

I got mine in LIMEGREEN, of course. :cool1:

Just go try some on. If they are as comfortable on your feet as they are on mine, I won't have to sell you on them - they will sell themselves.

(And if you get them in yellow you could look like you have Mickey Mouse feet)

If your into wearing bubblegum colored, rubber shoes that collect rivers of foot sweat...Crocs are for you!

:thumbsup2

I've been thinking about buying my first pair - however I have very wide feet, would anyone know if they are made "Wide"??

i thought they were stupid, tried a pair of the Airwalk ones and now i only take them off for work.

They are comfortable, and come in many styles. The best thing is to find some to try on first. Our local Hallmark stores carry them. You don't need the clunky ones, Crocs makes flip-flops and slide sandals, too. If you like them and they are a tad too tight, use a hair dryer to mold them to better fit.

Each style has different sizing: some are just small-medium, etc, others come in number sizes, The official web site www.crocs.com shows all the styles, sizes and where to buy them in your local area. We have the clog type for the cooler weather and flip-flops for the summer. Between DD and I, there are 6 pairs of various styles in the house.

As far as the price, I have foot problems so I pay $30-$40 for any shoes I buy, I have to have good support, so the price isn't an issue.

WE love Crocs :thumbsup2 No problem with sweaty feet here. They are the best thing I have ever worn. Last year people laughed at me over my shoes and not the all have a pair. They are not plastic

I think Crocs look like clown shoes. Seriously.

My mother loves them. I have tried a pair of hers on, and I admit they are comfortable. They feel like nothing is on your foot. But honestly, couldn't they have designed them to at least be attractive.

Everyone in my family has at least one pair and we all love them.

We are planning on wearing them on our upcomming trip to WDW. They are so light and comfortable.

The sizing is very flexible. My first pair I bought was felt a little small, but I wear them with the strap up and they are great. The next time I got a pair, I bought the larger size, and they are a little large. So, I wear them with the heel strap down.

Crocs are as comfortable as they are ugly! :rotfl:
They feel like you are not wearing anything on your feet. I have them, so do my DD and my DS. My DH just laughs at them and wont try them. I wish he would because I know he also would think they are so comfortable.

Mine are NOT:
rubber
sweaty
pink

Mine ARE:
black
tan
extremely comfy

I started wearing crocs a year ago. I have wacky knees and feet. At this point in my life I don't give a r---- a-- about how the shoes LOOK......I care about how my feet and legs feel. I would wear, seriously, anything that would make it possible to walk or stand like a regular person. For me, these shoes are the best I have found for my particular foot and leg problems. I did try the Airwalks and they do not have the same 'ahhhh' factor that the original crocs do. But, they may be good for you. Only you can tell.

Try, otherwise you will never know.

Good Luck with them!

I too got sucked in by these shoes... the knockoffs that walmart does aren't really comfy to me... but the Airwalk ones I got at Payless for 14.99 are like walking on pillows... yes... they aren't the prettiest shoe... but when it comes to walking for hours and hours for days and days at WDW I'd rather comfort than style if you are worried about the look, put a pair of flip flops in your bag for wearing in special pic's or something

My mom is a nurse & first bought a pair of Crocs about 2 years ago. I thought they would be extremely hot & nasty, until I got a pair. I got hot pink (it's my favorite color) and I wear them so much! They are wonderful pool/water shoes, and I even wear them in the rain during the summer. In response to the wideness of them, I have a wide foot and I am fine in the normal Crocs.

I would say to get a pair and try them out for a day. I think you'll like them, but if you don't take them back. :)

They are so comfortable. I too thought they were ugly but we were at a cheer competition in Indianapolis in March and we were there all day long. A friend of mine had two pairs and let me borrow a pair. I wore them both days to the compeitions and they were the best. I will make sure I have mine every time we go to competitions this year because I don't think I could get through the weekend without having them.

I have wide feet and I have a few pairs of Airwalks including the flip flop type and they fit just fine. I tell anyone if they are considering getting a pair but don't want to spend the money for Crocs go to Payless and get the Airwalks. They are half the cost and feel the same on your feet as real ones. I got mine there after reading about them here on the boards.

Bought two pairs at once! I got the light blue and the "putty" colored ones! I have not had the blue ones off but to go into the pool! :rotfl: They are very litght and confortable. I have not had a problem with perspiring at all. DGD got stung by a bee and could not get any type of shoe on. She wore the crocs until the swelling went down~! It took four days for me to get them back!!! :rotfl: She wouldn't wear them either, because she thought they were ugly. The other day, she asked if I was taking them to WDW. Think that she is going to be borrowing them!! :rotfl: Saturday, I went on-line and bought the Nile style. Cannot wait!!!! :cool1: pixiedust:

My DD5 had to have a pair, so I gave in a bought her a pair of the light pick ones at our local health food store. She loved them and swore they were more comfortable than any other shoes, so I tried them. I tried both the Beach and Caymen, but the sizing was wrong for me, either way too big or way too small. I'm a 7 1/2 to 8. Our local mall had a stand selling a brand called Holeys, so I tried them. It took about three wearings before they were really comfortable, maybe it takes that long for it to really mold to your foot, but now I wear them all the time - shopping, Disneyland etc. I now have two pairs, dark blue and green, and DD has the pink and purple.

I have heard that each style fits differently, so try them out.

Good luck.
