I grew up in Somerville, folks and grandmother are in Bridgewater now (live on Foothill Road). I worked for the Municipal Offices during college when they were building the mall. Now I'm near Chicago.
We lived close to Country Club Road - very close to Van Holten and the high school. (West - they combined while I was in HS!) My parents moved to Wayne after we all graduated, so I never get back there anymore.
Best hint I can give you is that if you stay near EPCOT that the Boardwalk bakery serves a fine espresso/cappucino. If you get there on opening you can start your day with fresh baked goods and decent Java.
I'm a home roaster and will bring my own grounds and a coffee press. My regular coffee is more like a cortadito or a strong cafe Cubano... Unless I use Colombian Huila variaties that are lighter and fruitier. At any rate, your other alternative is the Kona Cafe in the morning. Call ahead to find current hours and save yourself a trip to Starbucks.
That's funny Dh and I have never called it "down the shore" and we were born and raised by the Jersey Shore. I think people from north jersey usually call it that not locals. We miss it though Who is going to Disney the soonest and can tell for sure what SOG has for a starbucks? We have about 57 days until our trip.
If you go to Goofy's candy store at DownTown Disney, there's an espresso bar there. It's not Starbucks, but my mom is a total SB addict, and she said the espresso and mochas at this coffee bar were pretty close. It's right next the Christmas shop.
Me too! Moved from NJ to TN and left my Dunkin donuts Caramel swirl lattes behind Now I'm addicted to Starbucks which is alot more costly and fattening especially the Banana Coconut Frapucino. I'm trying to lose 5 lbs. from too much Starbucks.

I am "down the shore" and I never refer to it as that. Its to the beach lol.
But a response relevant to this thread...Not sure if Disney Quest is on your agenda, but they have a cafe in there with little booths and laptops. They had the best Caramel Royale. It was the closest thing to a Caramel Macchiato (sp) that I found. Addicted to Starbucks too. I felt like the little engine that could trekking through WDW in search of a Starbucks substitution...I think I can I think I can.
You can get the bottled SBux frappuccinos at Tubbi's at the Dolphin, but be warned, they're $4 each! (Normally $1.25-$2 at home!) I was so happy to have my usual caffeine fix that I didn't care, though
The nearest Dunkin Donuts is about 40 miles away. Starbucks is 5 minutes from my house so I had to make the switch. We might try the Kona coffee since we will be at Poly.
