Selecting AP over Ticket for Park Entry

My husband and son now have AP vouchers and 10 day park hoppers (expiring 1/2022) attached to them in MDE. They needed tickets for a July and November trip for park reservations, and this is the only way I can do it before Monday. Anyway, how can I ensure that the APs are used to enter the park instead of the tickets? Thanks

I guess we could just use the AP card instead of the magic bands. I think only the AP is on the AP card.

That would work, because we have to go to GS to get the vouchers activated anyway. We will be at DS the night before we hit the parks, so that should work.

Do the prioritizing. We did it as DS also and it went smoothly. It has been explained to me that if your AP card is linked to your MDE, it acts just as a magic band and can actually cause the other ticket to be used.

One option is to give them dummy accounts in MDE, and reassign the 10-day tickets there. Lots of people use those as a way to "park" tickets they don't want to be used right now.

So if your husband is named John David, and his usual account is John, you make a separate profile for JD. When you're ready to use them, reassign them back to John.

I already have a dummy account. I might try that. I will try GS first though, because we have to active 3 AP vouchers anyway and will be DS the night before going to the parks.
