I did some holiday shopping today and bought the family some Bombas socks.

Why not just donate to some of the local charities and bypass all the businesses trying to make a dime off it? Do you really need socks? It sounds like they are not getting a lot of help from the government.

Hopefully, the money gets to where it's needed. I'm always a little skeptical of companies that do this.
