Segway Tour

We are looking into the segway tour. I was told that everyone needs to be 16, and that ID will be checked. What do they accept for ID? And how strict do you think they are? My one son will be 2.5 weeks shy of his 16th bday. I called Disney and the sweet CM 'unofficially' told me to try! But I'd hate for us to have our hearts set on it and then at the last minute they dont let him do it. Im sure they would not let the rest of us cancel at that late time. Im so confused. We really want to do it, so please give me your input.

I went last year by myself (at the time I was 17) and all I needed was my dad to sign a permission slip/release form. I don't remember them checking my ID, though. You could give it a shot, but I'm not sure if they'd let you. I don't want to say, "Go ahead and do it." but you could always call a few weeks in advance and check again. I hope this helps.
