segway tour vs. EPCOT locations

How does the Around the World Tour interfere with ceremonies at the pavilions in EPCOT? Do they breeze by some pavilions, but really go through a lot of others? Specifically, Italy. that would just ruin it!

That's exactly what they do. We just scooted by most Countries, and then we'd stop in the occasional one to talk about it.

Italy was one of the ones we stopped for, however I did sort of get the feeling that where you stop is up to the tour guide, so maybe on days where something is scheduled for certain Countries then they skip them

We did the Tour in Feb. It was really fun and very interesting. I love our tour guide. I can't remember his name right now, but he made it wonderful. The Main stop is Italy. I am not sure if the Segway itself was fun or the Disney facts and information I learned about EPCOT was more fascinating. It really is a must, we are going on the off road Segway tour in May.

We got married in Italy in 2006. Both on the morning of our rehearsal and the morning of our ceremony, we didn't see any Segway tours stop near the pavilion.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about this. We've been on both sides of the Segway tours—for our wedding, they scared the pants off us with warnings that a tour might come barreling through Morocco during our wedding, and I lost a lot of sleep. In the end, it was a nonissue. There did turn out to be at least one tour in World Showcase that day, but the only place we ever saw them was France, as we were leaving on the boat.

We've since done the Segway tour, and it's very much up to the discretion of the tour guide where you go in the World Showcase. This is Disney—they are not gonna run the tour up the aisle or right by your guests or park it so everyone can gawk. The planners just have to tell you about this stuff because technically they can't control it.

I figured they'd make accomodations accordingly. They'd better for the amount people are paying them!

Love this. We have also done the Segway tour also and loved it. Sheldon actually wanted the two of us to ride the Segway's into our ceremony. I could just see me riding in in my long white gown. Anyway, I am sure Disney will keep all the Segway people away.

The morning of our ceremony a Disney bride that I know was doing her Epcot shoot. Our ceremony was in Italy and they were keeping Sheldon in hiding in Germany and the Disney bride saw him. I wish I realized this, I would have loved to see her that morning.
