Segway free ride experience is closed at Innoventions west

Saw on the Epcot tell-a-cast on the front beginning Aug. 27th Segway free ride experience is closed at Innoventions west. Segway tours are still available and sign up at guest relations.

That is a shame. We got to do it in May and I really enjoyed getting to try one out. I would never pay for the tour not knowing if I could even stand up on the thing! It was a nice experience for us non thrill riders!

Too bad. One of my best memories from my 8 visits to WDW parks.

I hope there's plans to replace it with something good, but with the track record for Innoventions....doubtful

I've done the tour multiple times. Worth every penny. They are very helpful in making sure everyone is very comfortable in the scooters before they take off, to the point that the third time I took the tour I wished there was an advanced version for people who had already been trained.

If you do the tour, try for the earlier one in the morning, as it gets you a chance to see EPCOT's World Showcase before it's open to the public. Makes for some very cool pictures when there's no one in the background.
