HI everyone! I am planning our trip for late Sept./early Oct. and would like to do both the Segway tour and the F&W Party for the Senses at EPCOT. Do you think we could do them both on the same day? I realize that means being in EPCOT from 8:30 a.m. until closing. Do you think that's pushing it?

Thanks all for your advice!!

You could...but if you're in Epcot all day could you resist the food tasting booths? You definitely want to go to PFTS on an empty stomach. Maybe a few samples for lunch and then do Future World? Or, if you can park hop, take the boat over to MGM after lunch.

I just remember that my feet were really hot and tired after doing the Segway tour. We walked around EPCOT and were back at the resort by late afternoon because I was so tired!!! I'd suggest lots of rest the night before!!!

I agree with MPLsDad...after the Segway tour my mother's feet and back were killing her, and we ended up going back to the hotel mid-afternoon for a break.

If you have park hopping ability, why not consider hopping over to another park after the Segway tour, and then then heading back to Epcot in the evening for F&W?

Wow! I never would have thought of that - it looks so relaxing! Hmmm - I may have to rethink this. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences!

We did the 8:30 Segway tour and stayed til park closing last month. In fact, Epcot had evening EMH that night so we were there until about 11:30 or later. It probably depends on how good a shape you are in physically as to whether you could do it or not without any problem.

Which resort are you staying at? Is it possible to take an afternoon break?

Last week we did the segway tour and the candlelight processional in the same day. We did the segway tour (which was so much fun.) Got some fast passes for Soarin and Test Track for later, went for a walk around the world showcase and then went back to our room for lunch and a few hours break. We were staying at the Beach Club Villas so it made this really easy to do as it was only a 5 minute walk away. Then when it was time for the fast passes at 3:30 we walked back to Epcot and stayed there until for the rest of the afternoon and evening and finally left after Illuminations at 9:30pm.

We will be staying at GF, so I guess it is conceivable that we could go back in the afternoon. I keep asking my husband if he thinks he can do both in one day and he keeps saying yes, so . . . ! My only other choice is to do it on the monring after MNSSHP and I don't think that is a good idea as I plan to shut MK down that night!
