Segmenting - looking for recent experiences

In early Oct, we are going to OKW for three days and then move over the BCV for three more. We have segmented both reservations so we can use the DxDP for one day at each resort. I know there have been may threads here to discuss various issues / problems with segmenting. I'd like to know from anyone who has recently done this at OKW and BCV to get the latest status. Are there any differences in how each resort front desk handles the segmented reservation, etc? What should I be prepared for - good or bad? Thanks

Did the exact same type of segmented stay in July. 4 days at OKW and 4 days at SSR. We had the DDP on the second segment, and had no problem at all.
