Seemed Like Yesterday We Were A Year Away!

Every trip to WDW begins and ends with Spaceship Earth for myself and my daughter (now 11). We got off the ride on the last day of our stay in the summer of 04' with a tinge of sadness, nearly a year would have to pass before we could return. And so began the long countdown from day 365, by 200 we were weary and stopped keeping track, then suddenly we broke 100 and now we are but 48 days away!

The hotel is paid up, all travel monies secured, now it is time to plan the automobile decorations (13.5 hour non-stop ride) and make reservations.

Whoever said waiting is half the fun was right, now the day approaches so quickly all is a blur, on to DISNEY!!!

I agree! It seems like just yesterday I was saying "90 days to go" and now its just 18! YAY!!!!

We started at over 200 days, but now it's down to 12 days--heading to OKW!

Hey what happened! My countdown disappeared. It's 83 days to go!

I know what you mean. We had our countdown at 355 when we came home last August. I bought one of those vacation countdown clocks. It is nice to see it reach new levels , We're now at 89 days away. It seemed only a month ago we were at 300.

90 days from today DS & I will be having a late lunch at Teppenyaki before we tour the countries
by now we will have been at WDW 10days w/4 more to go

We've been counting down since our 11month DVC window - actually I think we only decided at the 10month window - lol

Once the summer gets here time will go even quicker! We have a 5day and a 7day vacation planned before our WDW vacation - come on summer!

Ha! Try planning a cruise when you can book TWO YEARS out!

Isn't it amazing how time flies? When we booked our 07/06 cruise in 10/04 it was FOREVER away, but now it's just 400 and something days (i.e. a little over a year) Plus, we have a 10/05 cruise that's coming in just over 100 days.

I know what you mean. Our tradition is to go back to MK on our last day, do a "family hug" near the train station on the way out, and ride the monorail one last time. It seems like just yesterday we were doing all that. We never say good-bye, we say see you in a year! Now we're down to 36 days and it feels like we were just on that monorail. Now of course the last month is dragging. Can't wait to get back.
