Seeking photos / videos of available Magicbands + in DLR (NOT WDW)

We are looking for any links to photos or video that will show the available selection of MagicBands+ in Disneyland (not WDW please).

I have seem some videos that show them for a quick second, or they are showing the versions only sold in WDW. Even if someone had clear photos of the current selection would be terrific

We are not from the US and have a friend going there soon, and are asking them to bring a couple back for us. Hoping that there is a Sorcerer Mickey Magicband for me, and a Tinkerbell for my DW.

You are looking for MagicBand+ I think it will be difficult to find a photo of the current selection as each store seems to offer a different variety.

Edit to add: I go to DLR once a week. I probably won't go again until next weekend. I don't know when your friend will be here. If it is after next weekend, I'm happy to look for Sorcerer Mickey and Tinkerbell bands so you can tell your friend where to shop.

Thanks! They are heading down the 2nd week of May.. Going to give them some $$ and then look at the available items.

I've looked at the items on the store on DL site, and there seems to be some missing from that list, or they only list the popular items.

Looking at the brief photos, there always appears to be many more styles (do not see the Tinkerbell, or the plain coloured bands on the shop). Heart set on a Sorcerer, but the gray 100th is a close 2nd and of course Tink for the DW.

I think it would be easier to look for a few options and give the to your friend on a priority list of line 1 to 3 or something.

Agreed, but hard to decide on a design/option without knowing what is out there.
So far, from what I can find, my choice is either the Black Disneyland or the Grey 100th Anniversary band. Don't know if there is (or will be) a retro Sorcerer Mickey, there are original ones on re-seller sites, but not MagicBand+ versions.

There is a Tinkerbell one. It's the one I will be getting when I eventually buy one. I can take a photo of it tomorrow when I am at the parks if you want. World of Disney has ALL the bands. The other park gift shops have limited options, but the Emporium and the 5 and Dime store at DCA have large selections.

I have not seen a Sorcerer Mickey.

There are about 3-4 Disneyland specfic ones, and at least one DCA one, I think. Otherwise the selection is the same as what WDW has.

It's a HUGE wall of Magic Bands. Can you tell me what themes you are interested and I can take some photos of those ones specifically.

Yep but by the time your friend goes whatever is there now might have already changed. Or they might have added new ones.

Was just at World of Disney and there were NO Tinkerbell ones…I had to settle for Cheshire Cat. Bought Avengers next day as a backup…lol. I wasn’t really impressed with the selectio, they need more classic characters. Would love a Genie one or Jiminy Cricket.

You might have missed the Tink one. It was near the bottom. I was literally there 3 hours ago and they had a bunch. It's easy to miss. I looked at it like 3 times before I realized it was a Peter Pan/Tink band the first time I saw it. It's subtle.

Thanks, DLGal! I should have been more thorough in my search but as you know,there were a bunch of people all elbowing for space and that doesn’t work for me. I asked the sales person specifically for one and she said she’d never seen one. Go figure. Guess the angels just wanted me to have Chessie Cat Togo with my new Loungefly shirt

A little off topic but I feel that often cast members do very little to help guests who are looking for items. Many times I have been told that they are sold out of a particular item only to have it on display in an area where I hadn't looked. This happens in big stores as well as small stores. I usually have the UPC code (because I've seen the item online). Every once in a while, I find a helpful cast member who grabs a scanning device and plugs in the UPC to view quantity on hand at different locations in the parks.

Went to the parks today and took a glance to make sure they didn't add anything new. The Tink MB posted above was available at several stores. Unfortunately, I did not see a Sorcerer Mickey. They did have a World of Color/California Adventure Mickey.
