Seeking opinions on SOG vs All Stars Movies

Planning a trip next spring and debating between Shades of Green OR All Star Movies. Cost is about the same. Looking for opinions here when comparing the two resorts.

Go with Shades. You will have much more space. They have great restaurants, including one with a fantastic breakfast buffet. Also, you can easily walk to the Polynesian and ride the monorail to MK or to TTC to transfer to Epcot--bag check is much easier doing this versus riding the Shades bus. We also tend to take the Poly bus back from DS because the Shades bus is on the far end of the west side of DS. But, it's a quick walk to/from Poly.

Shades buses run every 30 minutes versus Movies running every 20. HOWEVER, that said, the Shades buses are ON TIME, all the time. At Movies this past weekend, we were left waiting multiple times because the Movies buses were late (a few times, very late). So, at least the Shades buses are reliable and you know what time to get to the stop. The MDE app now has a bus tracker, but we found that not always reliable (see very late buses comment).

Basically, you get more bang for your buck at Shades.

I would pick SoG. Really nice, spacious rooms and, as the PP stated, you can walk across the street to the Poly and use the monorail. We didn't eat at the restaurant at SoG since we are primarily in the parks during meal times and aren't breakfast eaters. We had ONLY stayed at All Star Movies prior to our stay at SoG and the thing that actually stuck out more than anything to me was how nice and well behaved everyone was at SoG! We never encountered any rude or entitled guests at SoG, the kids were all well behaved and polite.
