Seeing WDW Fireworks outside the World

We have a house in Champions Gate and we'll be staying there next week for the 4th. We had not planned on going to the parks for the holiday fireworks; however, we would like to see them. Does anyone know any good firework viewing spots in the Davenport/Champions Gate area. I have 6 kids so it's a large group or else I might try to grab dinner at the Reunion restaurant or something so we could watch from there. It's sad, but I've never checked to see if there was a spot within our resort to watch them, but I do know we cannot see them from our house.

Not sure if you can see any fireworks from there, but if so they would be remarkably tiny. Here's what the Epcot fireworks looks like from the Hilton Buena Vista Palace hotel next to Disney Springs. Keep in mind, this photo is taken from up in their high rise tower. It looks to be somewhere around the 10th floor.

According to Bing Maps, the distance in the photo (as the crow flies) is 2.1 miles.

Here are the approximate distances from Champion's Gate to fireworks at Walt Disney World:

• Disney's Hollywood Studios: 7.6 miles
• Epcot: 8.7 miles
• Magic Kingdom: 11.1 miles

Again, I have no personal experience, but I doubt it will possible...especially if you're on ground level.

I agree with writerguyfl... We can't see anything from our villa in that area.

However, there might be fireworks at Champions Gate. We have not been there for the 4th but other holidays we have enjoyed Champions Gate fireworks from our front yard.

There's a few spots closer to Clermont we've seen them from the road and definitely from Reunion, but it is indeed off in the distance. We're going to big firework display in our hometown tonight so that'll satisfy the kid's desire for fireworks. I know it's not Disney fireworks, but it gets the job done.

Here are 2 ideas

Go to the Hotel at Reunion & go to the Restaurant on The 11th Floor ..... I understand that you can see the fireworks from there.

Drive to Disney Springs ...in good time ....... Park in CAR PARK Lime ( Free ) go to ground level & take

the Bus to the Grand Floridian Hotel ...

Walk through the Hotel & find the way to The Ferry Boat Dock.............. ON the way ... Look to your LEFT and you

will see a large semi circle viewing area OF " The Castle " it has audio sound .
