Do we just go to guest services in the park? At the hotel? I'm almost positive there will be some kind of issue where something weird happens and I can't use anything! :D I've never had to call Disney while on vacation, just seeing what most people do.

Thanks!

What could go wrong?! If you are at WDW and have an issue or question, I would start with the front desk (since you'll likely be at the resort when trying to purchase and/or use G+ initially). If you have an issue while at the park (perhaps trying to get your second G+ attraction), I'd find a cast member or guest services. At this time, calling for help seems to be the least efficient way to get help. You're likely to wait forever, and probably have them tell you to go to Guest Services anyway. Hope you have NO issues!

Generally speaking, Guest Services in any of the parks would be the best resource. The hotel staff would likely refer you to there, anyway.

Just be prepared for long lines at Guest Services the first few days of Genie+. Those arriving the first few days it launches will have plenty of questions.

The main reason I would start with the hotel staff is because the problem might be showing up at 7AM. Waiting a couple hours until getting to Guest Services at a park might mean not getting the G+ or IAS selections they wanted because too much time has passed. But you are correct - there is that chance they'll tell you to go to GS to get it taken care of. And you are also correct - the line will be long.

I'm looking forward to hearing of the good and bad of the G+ kickoff - hoping to learn better over the upcoming weeks what to do and what to avoid for our December trip - or whether to bother with it at all!
