Hi, does anyone know when the carolers come to sing at the lobby? Or is it something I should just call the concierge and ask on the day we are there? Thanks in advance!

A different style of carolers are performing at the GCH, setup at the east end of the lobby (side away from registration). The singing is amplified. A less traditional style, somewhat like how the "new" Disneyland Band has updated the style of the "original" Disneyland Band.

The traditional carolers may still be performing, but I have not seen them at GCH.

I haven't seen that before, but I have seen Trader Sam riding a pink elephant once or twice after happy hour. ;)

Ohhhhhhh...this is disappointing news. I'm sure the new carolers are good, but I LOVE the traditional sound. New carolers seem like they'd fit in better at DLH or PPH. GCH should keep the old style! But then, I wish DL had kept the original band. I like the new one but wish it wasn't the MAIN band.

I'm just getting too old!

I very much enjoyed the Dickens-style carolers at Club 33 last year. Do they perform anywhere else?

The only "traditional" style of Carolers we've seen so far are the Buena Vista Street Carolers at DCA the past couple of weeks (dressed in 1920s style not Victorian). Group of 8 with those lovely "soft ringing" bells.

Thanks!! We leave tomorrow, so I'll be sure to look for them.

I agree, about both the carolers and the band.

They still perform there.

I loved these girls singing at the Grand! They were so fun to watch, even though they weren't traditional.
