Hooray for Hollywood!

Our last park day

We made it to HS mid morning and our first stop was pictures.

Then we ran over to Jedi training sign ups hoping there would be a spot for Killian. Luckily there was for early evening. After that we decided to get pictures with Buzz and Woody.
On the way into see them we saw Sarge. He wouldn't smile for the picture, instead he told me I took too long




Next we had fastpasses for TSMM and I got to show off my skills again

Still the champion!!

We grabbed a snack afterwards and had our picture taken in front of the Pixar Studio

It was close to the time for the March of the First Order so we walked over and got a spot right on the tape. I was surprised we got such a great place to stand and didn't have to wait long.



We had time to kill between that show and Indiana Jones so we went to get pictures with Kylo Ren. We saw the Jawas looking for things to trade so we tried to trade with them. Sadly they didn't like anything we brought so we didn't get to trade but they let us take pictures.



Then we went to the Visa meet n greet to see Kylo Ren and we were disappointed. He wasn't as intimidating as he has been in the past.

And I feel like you can barely see him in the picture.

It was time for our fastpasses so we made our way out of the launch bay. Liam had me take a picture of him with the Death Star model.

The Toy Story meet is one of my favorites.

I haven't met Kylo yet but that sucks he wasn't that great. I love meeting Chewie.

They made good on their word and the medal was in our room later that day.

The Toy Story meet is one of my favorites.

We always have them on our "must meet" list ever since our Disneymoon in 2004 (back when Woody and Jessie would still collapse if Andy was coming etc ) ; my husband's favorite is Buzz, and I got him Buzz ears, then he surprised me with Woody ears. These are apparently fairy rare I get people asking me all the time where did I ever find them, and I've literally only ever seen two people total wearing them! Sweet!

I haven't met Kylo yet but that sucks he wasn't that great.

When Melanie and I met him at DL he was borderline creepy = perfect! The ladies in front of me and Killian to meet R2 during the 5K were saying how Kylo was seriously close to crossing the line of inappropriate with the creepiness. I told them I could understand their apparent discomfort, but in my mind, that's him OWNING being Kylo Ren. This one we met was...just almost rude, but not as much in the sense of his character. Killian's Magic Band had "KilliNRen" (only 9 characters allowed haha), and he was so proud. He tried to show Kylo...who gave no response at all. The photographer and handler made a bigger deal out of it, so that make Killian glad.

I somehow got a little behind on your TR, but I am SO glad they made the medal issue right.

I was not much of a Star Wars fan before our recent WDW trip, but DHS has made me a fan. So fun!

Thanks, it was the first time I had done the Toy Story meet n greet and it did not disappoint!

I was honestly a little worried for a minute, like they would try to tell me it's no big deal but they were great about it.

After leaving the Launch Bay we headed over to Indiana Jones. Liam was very excited to show Killian & Becky the Indiana Jones show because they had never seen it before. We tried to get Becky picked to be an extra in the show but it didn't happen . It's ok they loved the show anyways. When the show was finished we jumped in line to see Olaf. I LOVED Olaf! Killian told him some snowman jokes that had everyone cracking up.

When we finished with Olaf it was time for our Star Tours fast passes. We make our way over and got in line. While we waited for our turn we struck up a conversation with a cast member that was from Jakku and was happy to be living in Florida now. Have I mentioned how great the cast members have been this trip?! The gift shop at the end of the ride was packed as usual but we spotted some Tsum Tsums we hadn't seen before so we bought them and Killian and Becky also made some droids.


We passed the speeder bikes on the way out so the boys hopped on for a quick picture


Then we decided it was time for a snack so we ducked into ABC Commissary. They had beautiful cupcakes there and I get 20% off with my AP

I got the Beauty and the Beast cupcake, it was white chocolate raspberry


Liam and Killian chose the Olaf cupcake that was chocolate and marshmallow


While we were sitting there I managed to snag fastpasses for the Great Movie Ride. So we finished our cupcakes and wandered over to the ride, stopping for a minute to look at all the handprints at the entrance. When the ride was through we took our time leaving. We passed through the exit doors and a cast member stopped us to stay the Star Wars show was starting and the characters would be passing by if we wanted to watch. Heck yeah! So the cast member pointed out the best place to stand and after 5 minutes we saw



Those were just a few, we also saw Darth Vader, Chewie, Boba and Storm Troopers. It was amazing to be that close! The Death Troopers even stopped to admire Killian's 5k medal and pat him on the back. The cast member told us they never interact with guests so we were lucky. I loved that the cast member stopped us so we could experience that!!


My only complaint is if they have the Death Trooper costumes why weren't they out at the 5k? They were on the medal after all!!
