For the last week of the Disneyland Halloween fireworks, guests can see the spooky projections that go along with the show on mist screens in the Rivers of America.

Previously, visitors could only see projected images and animated characters, including host Jack Skellington, on a 20-foot orb on top of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Guests in other parts of the park, besides Main Street U.S.A., could not see the projections. The characters do the narration and songs that go along with the plot of the “Halloween Screams” show.

Now, guests can also see the full effects on the mist screens that are usually used for the Fantasmic! show in Frontierland, said John McClintock, a Disneyland Resort spokesman.

The fireworks show is scheduled in between showings of Fantasmic! over the weekend, meaning Fantasmic! viewers can stay in one spot to see both shows. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, fireworks will be shot off at 9:25 p.m., while Fantasmic! appears at 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Cool but.... this tells me that it is going to be crazy crowded this weekend.

Wait, I've already seen this , you mean it's a new thing? Maybe I saw a test run. Went the 2nd week of October and stayed after Fantasmic to watch the fireworks - no projection then.

But was just there on Oct. 24th and once again was at the Fantasmic show and did see the projection, thought it was interesting since I hadn't seen it earlier in the month.

Really not that cool or anything, not really a must see, does make things a little more interesting if you aren't able to view the show from the castle, but if you don't have a view of both the water screen and the fireworks then you'll be swinging your head back and forth between the two.

We left after a few minutes, it was really cool however to see Jack's face on the water wall especially since it was unexpected and appeared suddenly. For those who haven't seen the show yet, please do try and see it in front of the castle, don't listen to the announcements - there is no other good viewing area!

Oh sorry I just posted the same thing on a new thread :scared1:i didn't see your thread at all and I have been on here all day! :surfweb:

but I think this is about time! Woohoo! Wish I was going this last week :)
