When i look at the Disney sites most of them mention..see map, see times for schedule. I also see many people here say that.We are getting into Orlando on a Monday night late and are going to MK first thing in the morning.

We are going to Disney(MK) for one day. I haven't been in 20 years. I was really hoping to plan out he order of the day a little but I don't know where to look for times of characters, parades, etc. i 'd like to go through each attraction and read which ones I hould take my 5 yr old on. We will not have time to waste waiting on something she will be frighteen of..she hates loud noises and hard bumping. When I look at sites I do find this inof but it is rather scattered and will take HOURS to look through. Does anyone know of an easier way?

Steve Soares has an awesome website. Every Saturday night/Sunday morn, he updates the schedule for each park. It includes the daily information you can get at each park plus information based on inside knowledge and history.

For information about the parks and each ride, you might consider purchasing a guide book (or better, borrow from the library to find the one you like best and then buy the most recent version of that one.)

As a side note, our biggest pet peeve at Disney is that ALL of the shows and many rides are VERY LOUD. Maybe our family is more sensitive (or aware) of this, but we are constantly shielding our children's ears. I have never read a guide book warning how loud the attractions are. Also, stay away from the MK "Stitch" attraction and ride Snow White after she has a good feel for the "fantasy" and "make-believe" elements of WDW.

On a positive note, Tuesdays are a GREAT day to visit Magic Kingdom!

Hope something here helps you out - congrats on getting back to WDW after 20 years!

Thanks for the info Risy. i am really looking forward to taking my kids to Disney. i remember my parents always saying they'd take us and they never did..... I still remember that promise.

Unfortunately we only have the one day so hopefully we will find a few shortcuts. I had seen some warnigns about Stitch. thanks for the heads up- i took DD to the local carnival this week and she was apprehensive about going on the rides that lift off the ground but she did go on the tea cups and the carousel... but she wanted to go back. I thought a little taste was good. She is getting a little better with noises then she used to be and since I see man of the attractions sit larger people..one of my ds of my hisband or I can go on with her..that will help too. thanks again.

Also..I am hoping my husband will love it and will want to go back for a week some day. I can dream.
