Security at DL?

Is security the same at DL as at WDW. A bag check before you enter? Will be there in a couple of weeks and curious as to what to expect, i.e. be prepaired for.

We were at DL all last week. They are doing bag checks.

I doesn't both me that they are doing the bag checks, but I believe they are just wasting time. They don't do any search if your not carrying a bag. When they do "search" your bag they basically just look on top,maybe push a couple articles around. What they are doing would in no way prevent someone from carrying out an evil deed.
