Hi, all you fans of Spiderman.

I read about a hidden scene on the X-MEN DVD from Entertainment Weekly #578 January 19, 2001.

To get to it:

1. On the menu board select "Theatrical Trailers & TV Spots"

2. Click on the rose embedded in the upper left corner of the screen.

Spiderman makes a brief cameo with the X-Men.

Sorry. Forgot to add that you first need to go to "Special Features" on the main menu.

Then you go to "Theatrical Trailers & TV Spots"

Finally, go to the rose in the upper left corner and this will take you to the hidden scene.

Yes, it is on a DVD that you play on a DVD player. :)

I thought the X-men/Spiderman scene was interesting since it gives us a little teaser before the real Spiderman movie comes out with Toby Maguire. Maybe someday there will be an X-Men/Spiderman teamup movie.

Here's another DVD trick I tried for Terminator 2.

You need the special edition
Terminator 2:The Ultimate Edition DVD. It stinks that Hollywood makes us by numerous editions of the same movie. Here's what you got to do though:

1. Select "Special Edition" from the main menu
2. Highlight "Play Special Edition"
3. Punch in 82997(Judgment Day's Date) on your remote
4. Wait for the "Play Extended Special Edition" box to pop up and hit enter

You'll see an alternate ending for the Terminator 2 movie.

I read about these surprises from Entertainment Weekly #578 January 19, 2001. Since they involve Universal attractions, I thought you all might be interested in trying them.

They also mention a hidden scene for Gladiator that involves Chicken Run. Also, they mention hidden scenes for Magnolia and Boogie Nights. If anyone is interested, I can post these little Easter Eggs, as well.

I know that there are several more hidden scenes for Terminator 2 that I heard about. I'll post them when I try them out.

Mind posting the one with Gladiator? I have that DVD. Unfortunately, I lent my X-Men DVD to my cousin. Darn, I really want to see the Spider-Man scene now!! Grrr. :D

Just a warning...

Don't go buying the X-Men DVD just to see Spidey. His appearance is extremely brief and he doesn't even speak. It's just a practical joke some crew member dressed in a Spidey outfit played on the X-Men. Short but amusing.

Here's the Gladiator DVD trick.

1. From the "Trailers & TV Spots" menu on Disc 2, click on the eagle emblazoned on Richard Harris' armor

You should get a Gladiator-style ad for Chicken Run.
