I read that John Schneider declined to come back for the second season. Based on how the show is rolling downhill, I'd say he made a smart decision. (Even if it did make me )

I wouldn't be surprised about that. He might have seen the way things were going with the show and decided not to come back. If so, I agree it was probably the best decision he could have made. Unfortunately for the show, he was the best actor on it, and I'm sure he brought alot of his fans with him. I wonder how many will stop watching now that he's not on it?
