I know!! I just feel like it... This year has just been the worst!!! The one person I wish I could talk with- I can't.

OMG Marcie, I am so very sorry to hear about your job. And you are most definitely NOT a loser. You are a strong young woman raising two clearly wonderful kids and you dealt (and without a doubt are still dealing) with the loss of a very important person in your life.

I think that makes you a star. And whatever little I have is all yours.

Oh I know you understand!!! My mom comes and says hello every now and then too! She was literally the first person I thought of- when it happened...

Everyone keeps asking well, what are y'all going to do about the trip? Are you still going to go? I NEED this trip- this break.. It's the only thing I have been excited about! The trip is paid for- we just got to get there.. We will just need $ for extra snacks, food, gas and any souvenirs.. Not much, really!

Landens birthday is on the 1st and mine on the 13th so I've asked for Disney gift cards from our loved ones! Lol

Today is the original day that we had for the trip until we changed it to October.... Well, I guess things do work out for a reason because drumroll please.......

I lost my job on Tuesday!!! I know, I know. I have had the absolute, most worst year I have ever had.. As if losing my mom wasnt bad enough... I am mad, frustrated, sad, worried.. All of the above. What I do know is... I am glad we are not going to Disney this weekend b/c there is no way that I could enjoy it, being not sure of what is going to happen, you know??

So, I have put on my big girl panties, have a smile on my face and know that everything will work out. I mean, I can only stay down for so long... I heard a quote that is quite meaningful in my life right now and hope that it may inspire someone else too...

Oh NO Marcie! ((HUGS)) and lots and lots of prayers coming to you from my family. Something bigger and better is out there waiting for you and even though I am sure you did not want this maybe some down time with the boys will be a positive thing while you look for a new job. Marcie, I am so sorry that you lost your job but, like you said, there's a reason why this happened when it did and it will all work out. Several years ago, I left my job just three days before we were scheduled to go to Disney so I kind of understand what you are feeling.

It's been a tough year for you but it can only get better. I've been praying for you since you sent me the p.m. and will continue to do so.

Just started reading your PTR. I haven't gotten all the way through but I just wanted to say how sorry I am about your mother. I lost my mom around the same age as you and it is so hard. She will be gone 8 years this year and it is not any easier. I'm also so sorry about your job. Something must be coming along that is better for you and your family. Your mom is looking out for you, she is always with you.

Thanks Lisa!! Just scary but I've been doing some part time things.. I used to serve papers so I've been helping my old boss do that and I'm cleaning two houses this week... And we will cut back on daycare so that will help too... The year def has to get better! No sense in harping over something I can't change! Disney is in about 25 days!!

We have done another relay for life in my Moms name this past weekend, and I know she was there cheering us on all night. Just as your mom is watching over you. If nothing else it helps me knowing I am not alone and there are others that feel the same way I do.

Hey!! Nice to see you on here again!! Aww- so sweet about the relay for life.. We did one in April- 3 weeks after and it was hard but I know she would have been proud..

2 weeks and 2 days to go!!!

I've had two interviews and feel very good about the one today... Just been cleaning houses & working in a friends boutique for some extra money.. It kind of sucks losing a job before vacation but life is funny that way sometimes.... I have a $300.00 check that I had no clue about so that will help out with spending money! Also- we are driving halfway that Friday night and my sister gave me her points for a free stay at Country Inn & Suites.. Yay!!

Keep calm.. It's almost Disney time!

One week from today I will hopefully be in our hotel halfway point at the Country Inn & Suites in Jacksonville!! I can't believe it's almost here!!! Lots to get together before then!! Still haven't found a full-find job- hoping to hear back from someone next week... My DH and our best friends are taking me to a haunted house tomorrow night to celebrate my 29th birthday that is on Sunday!!
