Okay, This is my 1st Attempt so you guys bare with me!! Hope you will join me!

Dates: September 21- 25th ( Same dates as last year, how cool) ( And free dining always helps)

Where: 1st Time at Caribbean Beach Resort

Why: Do we really need a reason? But there kind of is one.
My mom recently passed away on April 10th from the dreaded C-word.. She put up one hell of a fight and I miss her so much.. We talked on the phone- multiple times a day and now it seems like there is something just always missing.. One of the last times she spoke in the hospital, she said to me " you just got to be strong'.. Believe me, I am trying but life is hard without your best friend.. Hence, my TR name- When we told our 4 year old that his grandma was in heaven.. We told him that they way to heaven is... Second Star to the Right, and Straight On till Morning... ( Tears)

My husband agreed that we should take a trip... Life is just better at Disney, don't you agree??

Here is my fav pic of mom and my boys last year at Ohana-

You can just see the love in her eyes for our boys...

Here is another...

A family friend decorated our room for her and this is what they left.. So special... She is so missed...

Okay- So, I am Marcie.. Otherwise MarshEliz on the DIS.. I am a 28 year old paralegal from South Carolina. My DH and I got engaged in December 2005 at Disneyworld and have been married since April 2007. I have a tinkerbell tattoo on my lower back ( hey, atleast its kid friendly), I love Splash Mountain, the Main Street Electrical Parade & Peter Pan's Flight the bestest. :)

Here is a picture from last year...

Our oldest is Lawson- Aka "Laws the Boss".. He is the funniest, most charming kid in the world. He sings along with every song on the radio and I am convinced he will be famous one day... His first trip was in utero in December 2006 but his actual trip was February 2011. He used to have a love for Cars & Mickey Mouse but now he is more into super heroes and such. Growing up! :( He holds my heart in his hands.

This is him before his 4th birthday party last year:

Our other little boy is Landen- AKA "Landy Boo".. He is 19 months old and is the sweetest, most loving baby in the whole world... His first trip was in utero, just like Lawson, :) in February 2011 but physically his first trip was September 2012. He loves Mickey Mouse and loves, loves the water. That is one of the reasons I picked CBR- they have the pirate play area and thought he would enjoy that and we wouldn't have to "be all up on him".. LOL.

This is Landen on his first birthday- last October.

What a lovely family you have! The boys are simply adorable. It's fantastic that you have pictures and memories of your mother with your babies. We all know that our loved ones can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye.

Looking forward to hearing more of your plans.

Signed in and ready to go Marcie! :goodvibes

So glad you decided to not only do this trip but to also do a TR for it as well!
:yay:

YAY Rob! Welcome! I hope I write as good as you! :)
I am super excited about the trip and about attempting this TR!

We're here and following along. It looks like you should have a great (and well deserved) trip. Life really is better at Disney!

September is such a great time to go. Unfortunately we'll have to head home a few days before you get there, but we'll look forward to reading about your trip when we get back, and passing the time until we get to go. Have you made any ADRs? You have to love free dining!

YAY! Glad you are following along too!

I hope to do another update this afternoon with my ADR's!

Okay, so we have 129 days to gooooo!! :hourglass Seems like forever but time really does fly.

We are thinking about heading out that Friday, September 20th after dinner and driving for about 3-4 hours... Being in the car 8 hours with 2 kids under 5 is rough.... Hopefully, the kids might sleep for those few hours, get somewhere nice enough just to sleep and continue on the next morning.

Hoping that on Saturday, September 21st we arrive in Orlando @ the Caribbean Beach Resort by about noon or shortly thereafter. I hope that this resort is not as big as everyone makes it out to be and we will love it nevertheless. We have an ADR at 1900 Park Fair at 5:40 that evening and are hoping to maybe swim for a bit before dinner.... Can't wait to meet these faces!!

I took this picture last fall but they were leaving to take a break when we walked up and we didn't want to wait.

Sunday, September 22nd, we have a lunch ADR at Askershus. I hope that my boys won't mind seeing the princesses but I want too ( I'm seriously still 10) and I figured I better go ahead and do it while they are young and dont think that girls drool or whatever the saying is.

Laws the Boss will probably enjoy the attention knowing his girl crazy self... He actually got out of bed after bedtime a few weeks ago, climbs in my bed and says "Mom, I just don't know who I'm going to marry..".. Really?? The child is 4 people.

Anyone have any reviews on Askershus to share? Wanted to try CRT but can't see using the two credits.

We will head to Epcot when we get up that morning and probably just stay until after lunch. This normally isn't a whole day park for us.. Our children are just too small to enjoy it and the last times we had bad experiences with temper tantrums and a downpour... :(

We will head on over to Magic Kingdom that night so we can enjoy my favorite, Wishes and the nighttime parade! I can't go to Disney and forego either of these!

Monday, September 23rd is DH's 30th birthday!!!! :))) What better way to celebrate than being a the Happiest Place on Earth!!

We have a 9:30 reservation at Ohana.. We did it last year and loved it so much. Probably my favorite character meal. The Poly is just so beautiful and would love to have the extra $ one day to stay there.

Here is a pic from last time:

Ugh I totally forgot you can drive to Disney!!! I know it's not totally quick, but still...

Gawd I LOVE the stepsisters!!! Seriously so much fun.

I can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday. I came close in '09, but we arrived the day after.

Loving the plans so far. Still so glad you're doing this PTR! Your family is wonderful!:goodvibes

I am excited about seeing the stepsisters! Hopefully we are in for a treat!
Yep- were pretty lucky that we can drive! Airfare would be totally out of the price range!

<3 you plans sound great so far!!
We are doing Ohana breakfast for the first time this year. I am glad to hear good reviews!

We are driving this year from PA...... I am going to need a lot of prayers. 15+ hours with a 2 year old and 5 year old!

I may do a PTR I can't decide :)!!

I cant wait to actually meet them this time!

I know, my DH has had two birthdays at Disney.. Too bad free dining isn't in October- that's mine and Landen's birthdays! Lawson's is in July but I don't think I could deal with the heat in July... :(

Thanks Rob.

Oh, you won't be disappointed with Ohana! We loved it!

15 hours- WOW. I thought our 8 would be tough. Are you dividing the trip up?

You should do one... :)
