Second Seating with Children

we have done second seating twice- first time they were 6 and 9 and second time 8 and 11. we did it for the dine and play (or whatever it is called) where the counselors come and pick up the kids. we did not do it the very first cruise cause we were fearful they would not "last" until that time of day- but of course- there is food many places as well as the energy level is so high.

We did late dining with our kids (4, 6, and almost 9) for the Transatlantic. It worked out well, especially since we were losing an hour each day (which kept dropping dinnertime an hour sooner :D )

We live in the Central time zone. We did second seating for dine and play and it worked out great for us. The time lined up for when we ate at home. The kids loved being able to go to the kids club after they ate in the dining room and we liked having time together without the kids.
