I am staying at a Disney Resort, but I am going to Seaword for one day. Are the Disney busses adequate or should I spring for a cab.

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

You'll need some kind of transportation to Sea World. Disney buses won't take you there..that would be like the Coke driver bringing you to a Pepsi vending machine!

Have fun,

Bob

Disney busses won't bring you there, but, you can catch a bus to SeaWorld at the ticket and transportation center.

Getting to SeaWorld from Walt Disney World
The cheapest way is to take the city bus to SeaWorld from the Ticket and Transportation Center at Walt Disney World. The bus is #50 and the fare is $1.25 each way. The trip takes about 20 minutes. Be sure to ask the driver to let you off at the front gate of SeaWorld, and ask where to pick up the return bus (also #50). For schedules and further details, visit GoLynx.com.

If you don't want to take the bus, the next cheapest option is to rent a car for one day. If you're staying on Disney property, the easiest way is to rent a car from Alamo or National at the Car Care Center, which offers a shuttle service to and from the Disney hotels.

Hope this helps.

You can also book Mears transportation right in your resort lobby. I believe it's $14 per person round trip.
