I am planning to do Discovery Cove. during our april trip. NOt sure if I should pick Aquatica or Seaworld to pair up with the DC ticket. Any advice/ opinions would be great. Thanks

Well if you've never been to Sea World you definitely should pick it over Aquatica as it's one of the major parks in Orlando,Aquatica is an awesome waterpark but in that situation go with SW.If you've done Sea World before but not Aquatica then go with Aquatica.

We picked Aquatica only because we've been to Sea World several times already and it was in July, too hot for SW. If you are going in April when the weather is still cool, go with Sea World, it's a major park in Orlando after all.

I agree with going to Aquatica if it's hot as well,I went this year in one of the hottest days of the year and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in weather like that. The wavepool in Aquatica read 100 degrees and the day before my car's thermometer said 103 degrees,I've never seen it go up that high.

Honestly, I would pick SeaWorld. Aquatica seemed to me like they could have put more work into it when I went there. It was even sort of tacky. SeaWorld definitely had a more relaxed atmosphere and had more appealing things to do. Also, in SeaWorld you can buy passes to get to the front of ride lines, whereas in Aquatica you cannot. If you're looking for ways to stay cool, don't count SeaWorld out! The stingray petting area and the ride Journey to Atlantis are some suggestions for staying cool.

Thanks everyone. I did decide to go with Seaworld. We go in a few weeks, cant wait. My thinking was my son has never been to Seaworld. I was there years ago. I figure when will he have the chance to see the shows like at Seaworld. We can hit other water parks near home, but we will not be in the FLa area again for quite a while. Plus I figured we will be in the water all day at DC. Thanks for the advice
