Seaworld/Busch Gardens tix Canadian offer

The thing is, these discounts are just too complex for me... I'm going nuts checking out ALL the possibilities, and if I were paying myself for my own time, I might be spending $100 in salary to save $20!

But just in case somebody's planning to hit the "other parks" with a couple of kids... the special Canadian offer, available at www.seaworld.ca, will work out better for you because the child tickets are discounted. On the other hand, if you are going with more adults than kids, the Be a Kid Again offer available through the main site www.seaworldorlando.com is cheaper because adults get in for the same price as kids, but the kids' tickets are not discounted.

Clear as mud, right? Now, I suppose I COULD have bought two adult Be A Kid Again tickets for DH and me, then bought 1 child ticket for the special Canadian offer for DD, but you know what? She doesn't have any photo ID with a Canadian address on it, and only HER ticket would require proving Canadian residence, and I just don't want to worry about them giving me a hard time about it to save $10!

Hope somebody else can benefit from this little loophole! Merry holidays and all!

Wow! Where did you hear about this Seaworld deal? I couldn't find a link to it at all from the main website! I also couldn't find any Canadian discounts from the San Diego Seaworld site.... do you happen to know if any exist?

Got a postcard from the Orlando Magicard people... I guess that's like an Orlando tourist bureau/business organization. The link is also listed at Mousesavers under Seaworld - Canadian Offers, but they've got it as an adult offer only, and it's really the child tickets that are better.

Anyway, I'm going to Seaworld and Disney! Woohoo! Hope you can use the discount.

I assume buying the "be a kid again" promotion ticket would be the least expensive??

What we did was "be the kid again offer" plus I put in the code "pepsi" and got another, I think 20% off? Anyway, try it, it worked for us and the four of us got in for under $200.

Check out CAA as well, they are offering these same promotions at discounted rates, including the Busch/SeaWorld combo ticket.

Wow. I was just checking again this morning (for friends planning to go in March) and lo and behold, the Be a Kid Again prices have gone up! This is since I bought our tickets a few days ago! Now the seaworld.ca deal is DEFINITELY better for adults AND kids. It's only good for visits to mid-April, though.

Misslissa, the CAA deal never seems to work out better for us... I generally use US dollars for paying for US vacations, so the CAA deal involves paying out of CN dollar money, then figuring out how much that is at current exchange. CAA doesn't change their deal as the dollar fluctuates, so sometimes it's a great deal when the US dollar has risen, sometimes not so good when US dollar has fallen. And not so good when my CN $ account is taking the brunt of Xmas shopping!

But CAA members should definitely shop their site, too.

Thanks Northstar; we're not going but my sister her partner and their dd are--she was just saying how expensive it is! I guess I only see the Disney tickets divided by 10...$70 a day for 3 doesn't seem so bad by comparison, but I know that's b/c of the 10-day discount...
