We'll be visiting SeaWorld San Diego for the first time in a couple weeks. What tends to be the best time to ride the SkyTower and the Bayside Skyride? How busy do these attractions get throughout the day?

Also, how busy has Manta been since opening? We were planning to head right for it when the park opens.

I have not been to SW in a few years, but will be there in a few weeks also. I am interested in hearing how the Manta lines fill up.

It's best to to the skytower when it's NOT windy; they close it when winds are too high. I haven't really noticed a "long" line. It's best to go there first or just keep checking throughout the day.

I haven't been since Manta has opened up.

I like to ride both of these at night. The nighttime views are worth it. Lines can get lengthy for both but they move quickly, especially on the skytower as it holds quite a few people each time. The upper level will have the longer wait but the view from either level is about the same. Lines will be shorter during Shamus night show or just after sunset.

This was our experience, also. Twice we noticed it was running, got in line, and waited a few minutes for the ride to come back down only to be told they were closing it due to wind and try back later. We never did get to ride it.
