How are the crowd levels at SeaWorld and Aquatica in late April or early May? We are thinking about a trip next year (Easter is April 8th - we would go last week of April or first week of May). We've never been to SW before so I have no idea on their normal crowd levels. We are used to relatively light crowd levels at Disney and Universal. Can you give me an idea of wait times for the main rides?

Our other option is the last week of September 2011. I assume that the parks would be less crowded in September.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

We go to Disney (and SeaWorld, etc.) the last week of April and often into early May every year... that is when that doesn't co-incide with Easter like this year. We find the weather great and crowds very managable... especially at SeaWorld. No problem with last minute entry to shows and minimal (5-15 minute) waits for the rides. We moved our trip this year to avoid Easter, but in the future we'll go back to late April-early May.

I should add that the only year we did Aquatica was just after it had opened. Crowds were heavier than they probablly would normally be for that time of year. I would guess the weather and weekend vs. weekday would factor into crowds there. Shouldn't be too bad next year at that time. Its a nice park, especially if you get a good price combined with SW tickets.
