Found 136 plus taxes from Sea to Lax on Alaska. I am wondering if I should book it....I have heard of those great southwest deals for 109 - ugh ugh!!! Help!

I would book it right away. I havent seen rates like that in some time...when are your travel dates?

That's the lowest I've seen from our neck of the woods in a while!

Yes, that is a great rate. I fly down there regularly from Portland and the cheapest fair I have been able to come up with is $158 on Alaska Airlines.

Beware with SW - if you choose them - They typically don't offer direct flights, so your trip could take 3 hours longer because of the stop - over. (I'm not sure from Seattle, but from Portland there are NO direct flights from PDX - LAX)

Don't do SW, you can always find a cheaper fare on Alaska. THe 109 on SW is probably one way, so you're looking at 218 RT.

I just got a RT flight for 146 (taxes and all) from SEA to Long Beach. Long Beach is closer to DL than LAX. We're going the end of January.

I am so excited! I booked for Jan. 8-16th! I am still in shock I have managed to ebay my way to this with a few extra work bonuses. Never in a gazillion years!!!!! I got the 2 airfares on Alaska for $336. with all taxes in. - I am flying from Seattle. To fly from Vancouver is 99 each way, but then $150 in taxes/airport fees - crazy!!!
WOW! We are doing 6 nights in Anaheim and 2 in Hollywood! I have the Comfort Inn & Suites booked at 47/nt, but am toying with the idea of priceline. People are getting the Hyatt for $25/nt. Sooo as soon as I can get more money in paypal, I might just put in a bid. Thats basically half of what I am paying!
My mom is buying us 5 day passes for Xmas and also giving us $250 spending money. I got $100 out of my grandfather in leiu of xmas gifts and I know more people are chipping in to make this happen for us!
I AM STILL IN SHOCK - ITS SO REAL NOW!!!
Oh yah....stupid me - after I bought the air tics, I started to cry. LOL.

So happy that this is going to happen for you. I know it will be an awesome trip! You got a wonderful deal on air....god job! If you use priceline and are a first time user, be sure to check out biddingfortravel.com before you bid. It is loaded with great info. Ive used priceline in the past with great sucess. I wish you luck with the rest of your travel plans!!!

By the way, tears are always allowed when our dreams come true!!!

Congradulations! :Pinkbounc

You're gonna have a terrific time! It sounds awesome!

Do you live in Vancouver? I live in Washington, but on the Eastern side (Spokane).

Anyway, have a wonderful trip. :cool1:
