Seating for Fantasmic

Hello all. We will be going to Disney on Saturday, and I feel very behind on my planning. We will be taking a wheelchair for my grandmother, and this is our first time with a wheelchair anywhere, much less Disney. I feel a bit lost. Is there special handicapped seating for Fantasmic? I'm assuming so since it's all stairs. Does this fill up quickly? How do we find it? We will likely go to the second show (10:30) of the night. Thank you.

Yes, there is handicap seating for Fantasmic. It is in the back of the area, the last couple of rows.

The seating for Fantasmic does fill up rather quickly. The wheelchair accessable location is at the top of the theater. Directly in the middle is for wheelchairs w/one other person. Family wheelchair is located to the right and left sides of the theater. Whereever you sit, you have an excellent view point.

I can't access my pictures right now, but I do have pictures of the area.
As the other posters mentioned, the wheelchair/handicapped seating is at the top of the theater. As you enter the area, there is a wide walkway that leads to the amphitheater. When you get to the area where people leave their strollers on the left, you will be directed to a CM who will direct you for seating. Other guests just keep walking into the theater until they reach the CM who is directing people to seating areas.
Guests with wheelchairs/ECVs/other special needs are actually taken into the theater by a CM and directed to specific seats. Because there are limited number of seats for wheelchairs, they do need to count the number of guests who need those spots. How fast they fill up is really variable - it could be a busy night in general, but not thatmany people who need the special spots.
It might also be a slow night in general, but the special needs spots might be filled.

The last two rows are reserved. The very last row is for people in wheelchairs/ECVs and a couple of members of their group. If there are too many members of a group the "extras" will be seated in the next-to-top row.

Fantasmic does indeed have w/c seating, which is the back 3 rows of the whole theatre. The back row is usually reserved for the w/c plus 1 companion and they will also let up to 5 additional companions sit in the special seating area. If you have a larger party than that they may ask you to split up. They will also ask if the person using the chair is able to transfer onto the bench. This is asked to help make sure they can get as many disabled guests seated as possible. If you transfer, they will park your chair up against the wall at the back of the walkway and seat you in the top three rows. If you want the best view of the show you are best arriving at opening time, and if you are visiting during peak season the sooner you arrive the better. it is unusual nowadays for fantasmic to not stop admitting guests before the show starts, esp now it is running 3 days a week. (They have been know to shut 45min before show time to all guests recently, for the 1st show.)
