Hi,

We're thinking of checking out Cirque de Soleil during our upcoming trip, and I was wondering how people find the seating to be... are there any obstructed views, or are all of the seats fairly good?

TIA

Lisa

We did Cirque two years ago. It looked like all the seats are good. There is an upper and lower seating area tho. They are separated by a walkway. Those that are lower, while closer to the stage area, would seem to make the viewer look upwards a lot of the time. We got seats in the upper section, section 203 , 4 rows back from the walkway. They were fabulous seats!
I didn't see any obstucted seats. If you do go, just ask for the best available. I'm sure they'll be fine. Great show!!

All the seats are fine. In some parts of the show the best seats are close to the stage, but in others the seats in the back are better.

I read on Mousesavers tonight that they are trialling a 3rd pricing tier this fall, through 12/6, I believe. So basically Tier 1 would be the most 'center' seats, Tier 2 slightly farther 'off-center', and the new Tier 3 the furthest back and to the sides.

We were in the front row of the second tier of seats, just off center, and it was a fantastic place to sit. All of the seats are great. They even have special cushions for little ones to put on their seats that are about 6 inches tall, so they can see better.

It's a fabulous show - 90 minutes of non-stop entertainment. My DH usually falls asleep at a show the minute the lights go out, and he was as spellbound as the rest of us for the entire show. It's definitely worth the price.

When I purchased our tickets there were only 2 tiers of pricing online but there were two sections available only at the box office. Our tickets are for the December 5th show.

I sat in the upper section= front row... center.... it was awesome! I know from attending too many circuses AND Cirque De Soleil near where we live- that up front isn't all it's cracked up to be (haha- pun..... cracking neck after 90 minutes of looking up LOL) I'd rather be further back in lower part of upper balcony personally. :)

I ended up ordering our tickets, and we have Section 205. From what everyone here has said, we should be fine. I thought about ordering Tier 3, but I was too chicken about the view :).

after so many rave reviews we decided to switch this with CAl. Grill for our big night out...but since I have stinky vision even with glasses do you need to see the preformers faces to get the most out of the show or just the overall view of them. I could bring binoc. but they are a pain to use all the time.
Thanks
