Seated at two tables?

I just made an ADR for 50's PTC for myself, dh and dd. When I picked a time it said that we "may be seated at more then one table". What does that mean and how often does it happen? Will one of us be at a table by ourselves and the other two be somewhere else? Is there anything to do to make sure that doesn't happen? I've seen it when I was making ADRs for earlier in the trip, when we're a group of 4 adults and one child, but that made more sense then splitting a group of 3. :confused3

Thanks.

It is likely you made that reservation online. There are reports that even parties of one have gotten that disclaimer on an online reservation. When I find out how they plan to split a party of one, then I'll worry about it. They will not split a party of three.

Ah. Ok! Yes, I've made all my ADRs online {for the most part}. It's weird. I've seen it for certain times, but not for other times 10 min. later.

I have had to make ADR for two tables because I could not get a table for 7. Usually the restaurant is very accomodating and will seat the party together. They did for all my ressies. I wouldn't worry about a party of 3.

near capacity for certain times. Disney knows there will be no shows and such and I think this is a strategy used to make sure the restaurant is full and not empty. They want to account for every chair in the restaurant. Technically, this can happen if the disclaimer is there, but in our trip in December, this was stated on two of our resrvations for a party of 5. When we got there it didn't happen; so, it was a non-issue. We could have separated easily as a party of 2 and 3; so, I wasn't worried about it.

I did on those two ocassions show up about 20 minutes early from our reservation time for our meal.

I was concerned about this too but I booked it anyway because it looked like they were filling up and I had to take what I could get. It said that for every available time and we are a party of 3. I'm assuming they won't make one of us sit alone. :upsidedow

I had a party of 8 last trip, was told that for just about every restaurant...the ONLY one I recall not sitting together was the one where you sit in the cars, we had two cars, side by side, it was fine, and YUMMY too, LOL!
