Seated at separate tables?

I'm working on my online ADR's and for Boma I get a message that says our party may be seated at separate tables. Does this mean separate tables next to each other or separate tables possibly not near each other? Would they really separate us? We're a group of two adults and 3 children ages 4 and under so if we'd actually be far apart I won't make this ADR. Thanks!

If you're working with the online system, this disclaimer has been appearing on ALL reservations, for ALL restaurants, even for parties of 2 and 1. Obviously the odds that larger parties will be split are much greater (and the odds are zero for the party of 1) but I don't think a party of five has to worry about it.

I've been told this every time when booking parties from 6 - 14 people and we've never been split up, but they do have to tell you just in case the need arises. You should be fine.

I got that too with a party of 3 at 50's. I booked it anyway, I'm sure it's just something that happens to bigger groups or on rare occassions. If they tried to split us up I'd simply wait for another table to open up is all...
