for lunches we typically go to counter service. we discovered SEASONS in the land pavillion at epcot. it was really good. my chicken cesear salad was excellent! so fresh and tasty. i liked how u can pick and choose what u wanted to eat, it wasnt a combo meal pre-packed and i liked the cafeteria style. there were so many choices and i dont think i saw a hamburger or chicken fingers. there were little containers of pasta salad, coleslaw, apple slices, veggies etc. so if u wanted a healthy, refreshing or small snack(not an ice cream, petzel or popcorn) u can find it here. i highly recommend this place if u wanted something other then the traditional disney counter service food.

We also love this counter service. We have had the chinese, deli sandwhiches and of course mac and cheese for the kids.

We had a very nice breakfast there last summer. Reasonably priced by WDW standards and decent quality. The morning menu is somewhat limited but everyone found something they liked, even picky DS.

We have also enjoyed Seasons, it has a GREAT selection, and the food has always been fantastic! I always recommend this to other people, it's a nice switch from burgers and chicken!

Seasons was the BEST counter service we had on our trip in May. I had a sandwich (Turkey and Muenster Cheese on Foccacia with Chipotle Mayonnaise $6.99) and my mother had the caeser salad (Caesar Salad with Oak-fired Chicken $7.59). The food was wonderful and fresh and it was a great change from the heavier fare of hamburgers and fried choices.

We ate there several times in Sept. and also really liked it! Especially the Seared Tuna on Mixed Greens with Sesame Rice Wine dressing. Which was excellent! My DSis asked for a different dressing and it was no problem. :goodvibes

It was so good we got it again a few days later. You can't see it but there is a lot of rare tuna under those strips!

And the desserts were also good. Note to self, don't get the key lime pie and save it for later-it melts in the heat! :scared1:
Here's the (sad) proof, 3 hours after lunch!

(and the brownie was a sad casualty too! :scared: )

We love it, too! It sometimes works out for us to get a fastpass to Soarin' and then go grab lunch. By the time we're finished eating we take a ride over California.

I like to get a bowl of soup (there are always several varieties to choose from) and some potato salad as an alternative to a larger lunch combo sometimes. This also has the advantage of leaving more room for dessert, and Seasons has one of the best dessert selections of any counter service at WDW.

We love Sunshine Seasons! Food is great and lots of things to choose from. Agree that it makes a nice change from burgers, pizza dn chicken fingers.

All I can say is 'Pan au chocolat' :teeth:

We always stop at SS to get dd a good kids meal. She loves the chicken leg and mashed potatoes!

We always end up there 2-3 times during our trip. It has something for everyone. We've never had a problem using the ddp there - covered everything we ate.

The cuban sandwich there is one of my favorite eats at Disney! We head over often as there is something for all 4 of us to eat and very convenient. Wish they had something like that at every park.

Is everything in there on the DDP?

Pretty much-I can't think of anything that isn't but we were there in Sept. and I don't know how the snack changes may have affected the options. Previously I was able to get DD a late night snack of a croissant (her favorite) for a SC.
