I remember being routed around the back side of Soarin' while they were working on the entrance and Buena Vista street. Wasn't there a temp entrance (or at least exit) that was set up while they were changing out their gates?

Yes, this was such a pain. They walled off all of the entrance. You walked in the gates and had to go to the right and walk all the way around to Soarin'. Then if you wanted to go to Hollywood land you'd have to walk through a maze of walls to get there. They were doing the construction with the park open as others said. It was a complete mess. I am glad Star Wars land is behind everything. Can you imagine if they were trying to redo Tomorrowland into Star Wars. They'd have rides open and rides closed and walls everywhere. And Tomorrowland is such a nightmare for congestion as it is.
