No announcement with dates was made for 2010 but posters have reported being quoted more for buffets in peak periods by phone booking agents, and paying more for the buffets.
Yup, peak season prices have already started. Prices have been loaded into the Dining computers since December/January (according to several CMs I spoke with), so most CMs were aware of the pricing increases once they did summer ADRs.
Disney doesn't formally announce it, and I suspect it's because they get guaranteed revenues this way, as most people aren't going to walk away from an ADR. As well, many people are on DP, so the cash upcharge/surcharge won't affect them either as the DP has already been surcharged for this time period (and Disney has advertised and marketed that).
Yup, I know that, but they don't pay cash for their meals, so perhaps Disney doesn't really make much effort to advertise it as they have already surcharged the DP? It seems Disney is all about DP these days...
Sorry for the confusion - I'll edit my post, Tiger
