Season Pass Question

Hello All.
I have a question about the Annual Pass.
When i went a few weeks ago me and my sister had annual passes to redeem.
When we redeemed them they just gave us a paper ticket like a normal ticket but it says annual pass parkhoppper on it.
I had a annual pass about 10-15 years ago and it was like a drivers license, A plastic ticket with picture.
Did we get a bum deal or is just the way it is now?

It's the new way. The new ticket stock, while it looks flimsy, it can not be torn, and it is fire (or so they say, I haven't tried) and water proof..Also with the addition of the ticket tag (where you use the finger scanners at the turnstiles) a photo on the ticket is no longer necessary.

I've only had one problem with the "new" ticket style, and that was years ago. The mag stripe was erased. It was easily replaced at guest services. They really are pretty much indestructable.
