This is my husband and I when we found that out. Every show we've commited ourselves to over the last few years has been cancelled...first Journeyman and then Pushing Daisies. We really thought we were bad luck for shows. I'm so glad this one has been picked back up.

OP, the song was "Soulmate" by Natasha Bedingfield. Really good song. I had heard it a few times before the show last night.

And nkjzmom, I agree!! It seems like the past few seasons, we seem to be attracted to the shows that get cancelled! We were REALLY REALLY super happy that medium is being picked up by CBS!! (especially with that finale!! I would be so mad if that was it!!)

Yep, NBC was cancelling it so CBS picked it up (they had the right to as they technically own it ~ or at least they own the studio that produces it).
In any case, we are thrilled that it will carry on for at least another season...we did not want to say goodbye to yet another show this year.

It seems as though reality shows are taking over TV. I'm glad that at least one well-scripted show will still be around.

Glad it's been picked up. DH and I watch it regularly. Sorry that it's on Friday nights though since that's usually the spot they put shows before they are retired....

A quick question on this show if I could. My dh and I used to watch it all the time but then I started to get bored with her always in bed with her husband and waking up with her premonitions. Kinda like samo samo every episode? Did that end up happening this season too and does anyone else get tired of that too?

There is still quite a bit of that (it would be really hard to give the viewer a clear picture of the plot without the dreams though so we're stuck with that part I guess ).
But I do think that this season they showed a lot more focus on the family as a whole and on the girls individually which I thought was refreshing.

Some folks are threadkillers, I seem to be a series killer. Everytime I love a show it get cancelled! I am happy Medium is continuing....when will the next show be? I hate endings like last night! I will miss The Unit too.

I absolutely love Medium!! This season wasn't the best, IMHO, but I still adore it. The characters seem so real and well-developed. The show can shake me to the core of my being (some of the earlier episodes were cross-the-line disturbing) but it always makes me think and entertains me.

I'm so glad CBS picked it up!! Medium and Ghost Whisperer on Friday nights will be perfect!!
