What's the security drill to enter the parks? Similar to WDW? If not, how does it differ?

Pretty much the same. If you have no bags you can just walk in but there are tables out by the walkways to CityWalk that they do bag searches.

It's pretty simple. And it happens further away from the entrances.

If coming from the parking garage (also where shuttles drop you off) it's before you get into citywalk. If coming from the pathways from RPR on one side or HRH and PBH on the other side, it's just before you hit the citywalk area. If comin. From a boat from those hotels, the boat captain (pilot?) does it before you get on the boat. So you don't get the huge lines like at wdw.
