Seahorse Catamaran Snorkeling

Has anyone done the Seahorse catamaran snorkeling excursion on Castaway Cay. Is it much better then just renting the snorkeling equipment. I would love to hear your experience.

My brother and I did the Seashorse excursion on October 2003. We loved it! I got great pictures of the Wonder as we were heading out to our snorkeling spot. I had never been snorkeling before so I don't have anything to compare it to...but we saw a lot of colorful fish and even a stingray! I had an underwater camera and those pictures are some of my favorites. We didn't do the snorkeling excursion at Castaway Cay itself so I'm not sure how it compares.
