How much time does it take to see everything at Sea World with no kids? We would like to see all 4 shows as well, but will be at the park at opening.
Also, is there anything that doesn't open at park opening time?

What time of year will you be visiting? Crowds and park hours are both very important factors.

Also...will you be staying at an onsite partner hotel (and have free Quick Queue)? Will you be booking a SeaWorld vacations package (and therefore have free reserved show seating)?

We will be there Friday 9/25th. We are staying at Old Key West that night, so not a partner hotel.

The first show starts at 10, so I'm also wondering what we could get done the first hour. I'm assuming we need to go to the Penguin ride first.

To see all the shows and ride all the rides (as well as take in the animal feedings, aquariums, exhibits, etc.) *at least* one full day from park open to park close will be needed. A day and a half (or two days, even) is a better idea, especially if you want to be able to enjoy the park at a relaxing pace.

Well, we were hoping to tour everything by about 4:00. I guess we will see how it goes. Thanks!

Hopefully the weather will cooperate (as the majority of attractions at SeaWorld are outside, and thus go down with lightning)

4 shows can be done in 4 hours! We did SW last Tuesday. Just off the top of my head....we did 11:00 Clyde and Seamore, 12:00 Shamu, 12:45 Pets and then the 1:30 Blue Horizon. The penguin ride is lame....but the only way to see the penguins. Don't wait in line a long time for it. It keeps shutting down also. We like Journey to the Atlantis but don't sit in the front of the boat! My son-in-law was the only one to ride the Manta....he loved it. We also did the 3D turtle movie. Just plan your show times so you move efficiently through the park.
BTW.....there are covered seats at the shows. Pets Ahoy is actually inside.

Everybody's idea of everything is different. You can see all four shows and most of the major attractions in a day, maybe!! For us, we can spend 30 minutes at penguins with Quick Queue, because we love watching penguins. Wild Arctic is just meh to us, but if you love beluga whales, you could be there for a while. Also, I was mesmerized by the Aquarium at Manta, just a cool perspective looking up at rays instead of down at them. I could have spent a lot longer there. Pets Ahoy - we were the last ones out because my kids loved to pet the dogs after the show. That all adds up to hours we spend that the next family may use to "see" everything. It is a matter of style, I like an extra 5-10 minutes in the restaurants to relax. I am different than the above poster, no way would I want to see Clyde and Seamore, walk over to the other side of the park for Shamu, then walk back over for Pets Ahoy in a 2 hour span. Not better, just different. It might have been because I knew I had multiple days there, so I took it all in.

It says you are a DIS veteran, so you know theme parks. Not much different than MK in my book, we can see "everything" at MK in a day, or we could spend three days there. I know every vacation we leave Sea World having more fun than expected, hope you do as well!
