:donald: :donald: hello!! I have 2 dd (almost 4 and 6). my older dd does not like rides at all, she will not go on them. she likes very calm rides. my almost 4 dd likes rides, but i dont know if she would do water slides. i know in the summer when we go to sesame place my 6 y.o. will not do water slides and such. so here i am debating on whether to go to sea world or water parks. i know she wants to go to BB, but i think she might get more out of SW. we are only going to do one or the other. any opinions or suggestions??? thanks!!:thanks: :donald:

I've been to BB with my then 7 and 11 ds and 3dd. They had fun and they are not dare devils. There is a lazy river (sit in a tube and go around) there are large slides and small ones in the kiddie section. The kiddie section might be more their speed, but maybe they'd be too big now that I think about it. Probably all of the kids were 5 and under. There was a section that they loved. You held on to overhead ropes and walked across pieces of "ice" and they had zip cords that dropped you in a pool.

If your kids don't like the slides or rides, than I would say Sea World. We are going there ourselves for the first time in May. I personally hate water parks, my kids are very dissapointed we aren't going.

My kids ( DS5 and DD4)love SW. I have APS there since I got the ones that you can use at Sesame Place too and we go there a lot, it was well worth it for me. I have only taken them to a water park one time but they loved the lazy river and the kids area though if your older DD doesn't like the small slides at SP I don't think she will like the ones at the water parks.

SW has a few rides. One they are too small for (Kraken). One that is nice but a little fast and I dont think your older DD will like ( Atlantis). And one that you can opt out of the ride and just see the movie then walk through the exhibit with the Polar Bears and other cold water marine animals (Wild Arctic). Kraken is a huge roller coaster with inversions and the like and I think the minimum height is 54 inches. Atlantis is more like a combination of Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain It has dry parts and wet parts. The minimum height is 42 inches. Wild Arctic is a simulator ride like Star Wars and the minimum height is 42 inches. The side that you only see the movie shows the same movie the simulator side sees but in stationary seats. There is no height requirement on this side.

There are tons of shows and exhibits to see at SW and a lot of interactive fountains so bring extra clothes or bathing suits. I always let the kids get wet since it is so hot in Fla.

There is a huge play area called Shamu's Happy harbor It is kind of like the net climbing area at SP near the old Elmo's world show.

Compared to Disney it is a very relaxing place but it is a very large par so be prepared for a lot of walking . To me it seems as large as epcot possibly larger so be forewarned.
