Sea world--top 4-5 things plus things you can miss

I like most of the shows:

1. im not too fond of A'lure

2. pets ahoy

lol thats about it.

I wouldn't bother with the sky tower or the swan boats (paddle boats) because they cost extra and can be done elsewhere.

I never ride Atlantis because I don't want to be wet and miserable all day.

We love Atlantis so I would take it off the miss list.

If you purchase quick queue, it lets you go to the front of the line as many times as you want on the rides, including Manta. It also includes the Tower and Flamingo boats so we did both last trip. Made for a nice change and the view from the tower is awesome.

I didn't like Kraken but I'm not a huge roller coaster fan. Really like Manta.

Best show is Blue Horizons followed by Clyde and Seamore. Didn't bother with Believe this time; just not the same right now.

We loved:

Believe
Clyde and Seamore
Feeding the animals

My daughter would not have missed pets ahoy but I can see where that could be a miss for others.

We enjoyed the rides (except wild arctic), but whether you will or not, depends on you. Manta is pretty special, the others are just rides.

We really regretted missing the dolphin show. We couldn't make it from the other end of the park.

We wish we had skipped Wild Artic. The ride is a poor version of Star Tours (or Star Tours is a souped up version, I don't know which came first) and didn't add anything to the exhibits. I would skip either version and just check out the polar animal exhibits.

We wish we had passed on all day dining.

We did not think we would value Alure, sky tower, or paddle boats, so we skipped them.

I hope you have a great time!

I'm really surprised to see people mentioning A'lure on their list of things that can be missed. I've not seen it but think it looks great and have been really looking forward to seeing it. Is it just that it doesn't involve any animals that it's not a SW favorite or is there another reason?

To me, it isn't all that exciting. The stuff they do is cool, but it's pretty low-key otherwise.

I think Alure is the only thing I'd skip. I'm not a huge fan of Believe, since I grew up with The Shamu Adventure (or whatever it was called previously), but it's practically the icon of the park, so...

I think the best thing about Allure is that it is about 30-45 minutes sitting on cold metal uncomfortable backless benches. LOL But is great on 90 degree days. I don't enjoy the French comedian. I have seen so many similar shows at other parks that it is not a favorite.

I almost never miss Pets Ahoy though. It is hokey, but the animals are all so cute.

I only ride Wild Arctic when it is Polar Express( better movie clips) and just walk through the room with the screen and go down to the animals. It is a never miss again. And sometimes-even though you technically aren't suppose to, I go through the exit and go see the animals( but I have permission<VBG>.)

I can't miss the rest of the shows, Shark Encounter with all the aquariums, feeding the sea lions(feeding the dolphins if its your first time) , the floor and ceiling aquarium in the shop by JTA, the aquarium at at Manta, the underwater dolphin area to watch them play with the rings they make(awesome) , eating the BBQ platter meal, eating a strawberry waffle cone, and seeing all the night shows during summer.

One thing I could miss ....the parking lot right after the fireworks. Sometimes takes 1/2- 1 hour to get out onto the street. So that is when I get my strawberry waffle cone and chill till everyone is out of the park. <VBG>

Not to miss shows: Believe -- the Orca show (go even though trainers are outside the water. It's still great, a must do in my opinion. Seeing the Orcas is just awe inspring for me every time.), Blue Horizons (the Dolphin show), Clyde and Semour (the Sea Lion show). Sea World shows are all great. These would be my top three, but if you have the time and inclination, the others are excellent too. I'd make going to three shows a number one priority and fit other things in around shows.

If you like coaters, do Manta and Kracken first thing in the morning before lines get long. They are fun coasters for sure. Manta is newest and is the one to do first.

I also like touching / feeding the animals -- food costs extra (Stingrays -- right at the front of the park, Dolphins, and Sea Lions). All the animal exhibits are great if you have the time. And if you have little ones, Shamu's Happy Harbour is an exceptional play area.
